my mate has burnt a relay out in his fuse box under the bonnet and its a yellow one about 1inch square and its X1 thats its code,its right next to the fuses at the front of the fuse box.his car is a Hreg magenta4x4saff cos.he wants to know what the relay does? anyone know ??????????

 

its most likely to be the engine fan relay, not sure about its location,but a common problem
