Default Car running problem - please help

Help please peeps ...

Just went out for a spin in my car (its a 2wd saffy) and when you drive it hesitates badly for a few seconds when you press the throttle down but once you are on boost its ok ?
Also noticed that the tick over is very low now too. Any ideas what I can check please ?

sounds like the water temp sensor on the back of the head mate, having same prob on mine, the pectel monitor reads 20 deg on start up and just keeps going and going til it gets to 120deg tried 2 sensors and checked the wiring and it still does it, if i plug into a sensor out of the head it stays around 40 deg and runs ok but is obviously overfueling cos the ecu still thinks its not up to temp, fookin nightmare
