They ditched the xr badge as the insurance companies had killed them by putting the premiums through the roof. ST stands for sports technologies, not sure if xr ever actually stood for anything

Does it really matter what they call it or what model it is... if it goes well and is a good car then well worth the money i say!!

reason it wont be an XR is because the age of the potential buyers for a fast fiesta probably wont be old enough to know anything about XR's, so why bother? all it will do is make the people who CAN remember the XR think "wont be having one of them if they are owt like the last lot"
