Doug Stirlings speakers, nice review in latest Hi Fi News!
Anyone interested in HiFi?
If you don't know Doug's work, have a look at these new offerings - Doug's speakers are a work of art, and of course sound just as good!

So why have you edited you reply about working in the Music undustry and knowing a bit about speakers? I reckon you need some good electronics skills to know the in's and out's of speakers, perhaps the same sort of knowledge you'd need to design ECU's and the like

Thanks for posting this up RichM
It's a good review..........also they have nominated my V2 for this years awards "Best Compact Loudspeaker" catagory............dont know how it will do - as it's the toughest market sector. A LOT of very good small speakers out there, and ALL of them are produced in the UK
I had a pair too few years ago, and Linn Kans, driven by Naim NAC-32 pre/Hi-Cap PSU/NAP-250 power amp

I knew Bill Woodman at ATC - actually he founded the company, came over from Australia and in those early days (80's) made PA drive units first of all.....he got into studio mointoring/hi-fi speakers a few years later.

My new LS3/5a V2 uses the same Scanspeak tweeter but with phase correction and extra dopeing (mechanical damping).........but the Stirling V2 has a completely defferent ballance to the LINN KAN's..........smoother with better imageing/depth, and as a bonus the V2 is a LOT less amplifier fussy
ANYBODY that needs early LINN speakers repairing or NEW replacement drive units - I have good stock of all the drivers: DH-2008 tweeters, the proper Linn version (as used in KAN/SARA/Isobarick), KEF SP-1003 mid/bass drivers (KAN & Iso's) and KEF B-139 bass units (Iso's).
