how you mean "twitch"

do you mean when you apply left lock, and hold it without moving it, its trying to pull the wheels back right and the steering wheel feels like its bouncing?

if so - theres air in there still

it wont try to pull the wheels abck to center - it just feels bouncy

jack the car up at the front so both wheels are off the ground, take the cap off the PAS tank, and then turn the wheel lock to lock 5 times - holding it at each far lock for a few seconds each time so that the pump is working hard

check the level, and top up as required - do this untill all air is expelled

well its either the rack or the pump - either way, you ran the rack and pump with no oil, so its likely to have caused damage - the pump needs the oil to keep its bearings lubricated and the rack needs it for that reason too

funnily enough i have 2 spares

So you have changed the pump already? was it a new one? If so chances are you've wrecked the rack....

Who did you bust the cv and pump at the same time?
