Default HIC Insurance...

Who is best to talk to there? Didn't get much help from someone earlier on, and there is no fucking way I am going to accept an £1800 renewal!

It's so stupidly high it's not even funny. With the way things have been going since I got it back, the tools will be coming out soon and it'll go on Ebay in bits if they get any worse!

I seem to remember speaking to a bloke called Dan when I got insured on my 21Turbo - very helpful & tried every trick in the book to get the price down (i.e. club members, mag subscription etc) to an easy to live with £330!!!

Unfortanatly i phoned Grrenlight for a quote and the person on the end said how much is your renewl, i told them and she said we wont be able to touch that.

I hadnt even give her the spec .

Waste of time

HIC insurance has gone up by £250 from last year and i havnt had a claim.

I will never bother phoning Greenlight again, worse thing is i had three cars to insure.

The saff, The winter smoker and the misses, all up the same month .

Watch the installement charges with HIC

Tony try getting a quote from HIC as "New Business". My renewal was 1250 so i left and went to another company. Then realised they dont do track cover so went back to HIC four weeks later and they quoted me as a new customer and my policy came out to 785

I did mine through HIC and declared all the mods and the cage and Martin sorted it for a little over £500 with an agreed value of £4k on a classic policy. Paid the premium in full so can't comment on the installment charges. They were pretty good on the FRST as well though

something strange has gone on with HIC, i'd been insured with them for 3 years (zero claims) and then all of a sudden theyve become uncompetative! my renewal lapsed (me being lazy) and there "new business" quote was no were near my current policy

agreed about greenlight waste of space

I've always found HIC really competitive and always beat Adrian flux's quotes. I agree on the £25 per change on the policy throughout the year, it's cost me £50 this year

See what they are like next year

They wouldn't let me because my policy only run out at midday. I said that Flux was £400 cheaper than the original price, and they gave me the higher value and more BHP I asked for, and if they could get near it. They said no, I said good bye.
