Not what you want to hear first thing in the morning.......
Just had a knock at the door, bearing in mind i only got home from work about 15 mins ago, a young lass stood there - about 16/17 year old. She asked if i remembered who she was - my reply was no, she then tells me she is xxxx xxxxx's daughter and i used to work with him when i drove buses.
Anyway, reason she was knocking on the door is to tell me that her dad had just been taken into hospital after collapsing and they have found a brain tumor
Poor lad is only 38/39 aswell - not sure if the tumor is operable or not as she didnt have the details about it, but its still a big shock for me - was one of the few decent lads at Tracky aswell
aint much point to this post apart from for me to aire my thoughts about it - which at the moment, still unthought about due to attempting to comprehend what has happened

Sorry to hear that, but the silver lining is at least they're taking it seriously. My friend died of a brain tumour 4 years ago. She had been to the doctor and the hospital about her migranes loads of times but was always sent home with some paracetomol and some harsh words. A month later she died after not waking up in the morning... THEN the decided she was an emergency and airlifted her to hospital, shame it was abit too late

Sorry to hear about that mate, but rather than a downer post....
Jooster off here [doesn't post much] had a brain tumour in 1995 and he's fine now! he gets headaches occassionally [due to the metal plate they left in his head ] but he lives each day like it's the last one now and enjoys himself LOADS!
I hope your mate gets better, I'm sure he will
