As I understand it, Skyline is kindof like Mondeo in Japan. Just that the GTR eclipses all other variations completely.

There is currently no word on the GTR 35

New GTR is 2nd or 3rd qtr 2007 in Japan from memory. It's under development right now I know that much

the rear looks like a 350z with the circle shape rear lights BUT WERE NOT GETTING THAT OVER HERE ANYWAY

but the 350z aint exaclty slow and apart from the door being soo fooking high is a nice car, i enjoy driving the demo in our show room, too quiet on the inside though

and a hard cut limiter is a stupid idea at top speeds

Like RichW says, its only GTR thats special, Skylines can be anything from normal 4door small engined saloons right down to monsters, and that G35 aint no GTR and dont even try to be.

Ginge- 350Zs are well slow I reckon, but then again I got another view of slow compared to most people! Lovely cars tho, was caning the one that did the Gumball Rally round yesterday actually

did you hit the hard cut limiter on the M25 at a fair speed though, must admit they aint balls out fast but doing 130 in it is a dream, well apart from the shit steering wheel position

love the electric seats and where the switches are

my last day at nissan and ill never drive a 350 again

oh and 2 350's have been wrote off this week and both aint done 15 mile between em , nice crumple zones in the rear quarters

fuck 130mph in a straight line, thas boring in one of them ( tho your right, nice n comfy) where them things are fun are lower speeds on A and B roads, or just scaring people round town by coming out of junctions sideways

btw dont spend 15 mins looking for a hand brake in th murano, oh and dont dip the clutch changing gears it it either, i dipped the clutch at a set of lights and locked the car up , but dont worry it was my bosses new car

Its all a bloody concept loada bollocks thats been around for ever (them pics are about 5yrs old now), theres been no official word on engines, transmissons, or on releases anywhere, never mind saying we wont get it over here.

TBH we prob will get it here, looks to be a worldwide release as a "supercar", nothing like the previous affordable GTRs

Yeah the R31 Skyline was released by Nissan so the old 4 door saloons are fairly common still. The same with Subaru. While only the WRX seems to be about in the UK, we get the full range from hub capped wheels through to Sti (although not Spec C). Same again with Mitsubishis, we get the full Lancer range including 2 door coupe through to the EVO.

nissan over here had a few concept cars at a trainign day ( fooking track day with lunch provided) and was mentioned that it prob wont be comming here, dont knoiw the reason

but we are getting the 1.6 micra, the one of the salesman got kicked out of the car buy the pro driver for rasing the handbrake on a bend to get it sideways

o got offered to go to the new nevara training day, talking about the new double cab woth the rx8 doors blah blah blah

i said id rather come top work and help pdi the 17 micras , nto kidding either

hey ive only been working for em for 3 weeks

hard to get interested in the micras , i was gonan read abotu em but was toooooooooooooooo boring

nice turning circle on em though and very light steering, i can chuck the wheel like a stunt driver when parking, makes the owners make the strangest faces

last day tommorow, really sad im leaving too

but the ford discount is helping me get through this

steve whats that ment to mean, the first thing i ever asked there was aboutn the piccy if the 350 the manager has in his office and asked what model that was and he told me its the new skyline and then said, dont enjoy it too much as they reconit aint comming here, so i asked a few more and they said the same thing

as far as the driving of the cars goe, ive delivered 3 350's and driven almost 9 different ones includng the gt, all of which has been over 50 miles, the sales manager uses the demo as his company car

but then its like saying ya just started working for a mag in the last year so know fook all, if ya ask a person whos job it is to know ya expect them to now a bit about it

infact ive driven every nissan available this year as far as models go but fook knows about the specs, aslong as the climate control works and the radio works i dont pay attention anymore

Them R35 pics have been around for years yes - but even after all this time it still don't look any less UGLY. Fooking HIDEOUS looking car - I shall be hella sad if that IS what the new Skyline GTR will look like

And as far as "not getting" the R35 over here - I would be surprised if we didn't. Untill the R34 came out there was never an "official UK Skyline", then they launched the R34's over here and they sold out like fooking hotcakes. With that kind of success, they would be FOOLs not to release a sequal - fucks sake look at how many Back To The Future sequels there were

IMO and i know nothing! But that car looks like a cruiser than a sports car! So question that would be asked is what toys does it come with not how it handles, power etc as thats just down the list on importance

GTR wise, nothing will beat the R34 GTR IMO Flocking love it!
