Hi, does anyone no of any twin carb setups that are good for turboing? or turbo ready? I've been told webber 45dcoe's 152g are turbo ready but i was wondering if there were any down draught carbs that are compatible as space is pretty tight.
Any part numbers, links, contacts and information would be great!
It's for a cvh engine if it makes a difference.
Cheers
Chris

DCOE/DHLA type carbs for turbo use are quite specialised, they need to be effectively sealed so there's no leak to atmosphere under boost conditions, and so that the float chamber gets pressurised to the same degree as the inlet plenum to ensure consistent fuelling.
The only carbs of this type I can think of immediately is from an early Lotus Esprit, they are sidedraught, but not sure if they will be Weber or Dellorto, could easily be either.

Thanks richm
Can anyone suggest a company or a tuner on here that would be able to convert the carbs if i couldn't get hold of some turbo ready ones?
Thanks

The Esprit used Dellorto DHLA derivative carbs not Weber.
