Default using large injectors for small power

Was just wondering if there would be a problem using say greys if you had only 300bhp ?? or blues if you only had 250 odd etc.. Surely as injectors are not just on/off, if you can map them ok you could do it??.

especially as injectors become unefficient if you push them past a certain percentage of their duty cycle?? .....sure somone will tell me thats bollocks

what about 1000 cc injectors running 400bhp? pmsl

another question... I take it P8 couldnt run 1000cc injectors?? you would need something like Secs S8

or is that what stu is about to prove wrong???

DazC, incase your wondering "what would be the point" The only reason would be to run that power till the gearbox etc are uprated then up the power...

I wouldn't like to hazard a guess as to who's it might be though!!!

Jap Crap, Stu has already mapped a car running 750cc injectors on a Level 6 so a Level 8 should be able to handle them and a P8 should deffo handle them. And no. I wasn't wondering what the point was!

650's actually i believe....

750's are a new challenge. just need to equip your S1 with 1000cc ones to complete the puzzle

What was the for earlier?

I am absofruitly sure you said Kenny mapped 750 cc's!!! My S1 will eventually be able to run any injectors it likes....hopefully.....but then you would expect the management I want, to handle almost anything anyway with out it being a complete challenge!!!

And the , well nothing is ever straight forwards is it, unless you're fitting a fuse or a bulb.

Well to be honest, problems started right at the very beginning when he started buying parts. He started stripping it on Monday night and just hit problem after problem after problem. Even tonight he has had more problems..... I personnaly wouldn't have done it like he has. I would have looked into it and done more research and decided what I wanted from the word go and tackled bits as I go along up to the point where I have all the bits required.
