someone put a picture of it up at work, with the following statement

"After many hours of consultation, network rail decided that the easiest way to confuse a driver and increase spads, was to install multi-aspect signals at all major junctions"

for those that dont know, a spad is not a retard, it stands for Signal Passed At Danger - railway term meaning the driver ran a red light

found this on the web

Traffic Light Sculpture, Canary Wharf
Situated in the middle of a roundabout, this sculpture confuses unsuspecting motorists every day. Standing over eight metres tall it has 75 fully working traffic signal heads. It was created by Pierre Vivant and is in the shape of two plane trees. The light sequence mainly displays just red and amber - supposedly to mimic the 24 hour nature of the city behind.

yeah i pass it when we go shopping, the only place in london ya dont have to cue whilst shopping is the isle of dogs asda as no fooker lives there on weekends

first time i seen it i did wonder but it was on green so i went through, on the way back they was loads of colours so i waited then took a gamble

strange though as its deffo somink that will confuse and could cause a crash yet theres no signs stating its not real ect on it

also causes traffic when the other new people wait for em
