they leak air into the air/fuel mix to lean the mix out without the cars ECU knowing.

Therefore a leaner mix can make a little more power BUT is a leaner air/fuel mix good for an engine?

They are a load of shite. On an XR2 it will reduce the vacuum drawing fuel into the engine and lean it off...just get the car set up correctly.

i always fort they control the fuel better, with tuned up engines.

obviously not cossie for the above factor, but thought other highly tuned engines, such as the xr2, 2i etc it may of been a good idea.

so for future refrence its a solid NO to these, just in case i recomend if anyone should ask me.

Hi guys ...

Dont waste your money! A rep insisted I try some a few years ago, when we did a load of lpg conversions. The just bleed air into the inlet manifold under certain circumstances. However, the purpose of a Lambda sensor in the exhaust system is to correct fuel/air ratio at all times to follow a set ideal. Fitting one of these will just cause a correction to take place .. I found no benefits .. I think some of these companies rely on what us consumers are made to believe!
If you want to save a bit of fuel .. stick a limiter on the throttle travel or something
