As above, didn't realise how cheap they are just been looking on autotrader. Is a standard one pretty well bomb proof for trackdays & do they handle well as standard compared to a cossie, i'm sure they must handle better than a cos.
Anyone know how much they weigh ?

been contemplating one of these aswell.but when things do go wrong can get a bit pricey i think
starter motor can be an engine out job unless you have S shaped spanners
still tempt me alot tho

Great as a track car, dubious reliability if hammered regularly IMO. Mate has had 3. Cheap ones are usually well used and require some sort of attention

I'll have a look at that link, thanks. I'm only thinking of one purely as a track car & up the pod, would strip the interior right out, would only get used on the road to & from track, as a car i think they look absoulute shit must be one of the uglyest cars ever made but they are a mega performance car for the cash.

Bit off subject but the other 2 cars i'm considering for track use only & nothing else is either a MK2 Golf gti 16v or a 205 gti with possibly a Mi16v fitted but these are obviously slower cars especially the Golf but then were only talking a few hundred ££ for a Golf & then money over to modify sus & brakes. Any ideas.
