Another "GT Battle" typethingy at Donnington??
Anyone going along to see this at Donnington Park on 17/09/05. I asked a few people at Rockingham last Saturday but no-one seemed to know much about it.
I know Sean was quite interested with his Lotus as he likes Donnington Park he told me.
Here's the details -> www.tunergp.co.uk - doesn't look like there's the same level of entrants so far to be honest.
Anyone else going?
Cheers
Mike

I agree - overheard from one of the Skyline lot that they were going to enter and "clean up".........
Looking at the other cars so far entered they stand a good chance.

Perhaps the trouble with having too many events like this e.g TOTB, GT Battle and now this Tuner GP is that you get a "dilution" of the quality of entry until no-one is quite sure which event to attend and you don't get all the best/fastest cars together on the same day.

Possibly mate, but GT Battle was always set out not to compete with TOTB, and IMO TOTB is quite well established now, in it's 4th year I think now isn't it

it is indeed Redline totb4 this year, we now have 125 cars confirmed competing, the "lowest" proven spec being a 13.8s 1/4m fwd car, quickest so far being Keith Cowies 9.3s 1/4m R32 GTR. altho not just 1/4m based, i think we have around 20 proven 10s 1/4m cars running now. the quality of cars in the uk seems to go up each year.
the event calendar is very full this summer tho!
