how much that head weigh

i would strip all the paint from the boot and see whats been done, also look where the doors join the chassis aswell to be siure, sod the MOT tests but dio ya own proper ones, add a screwdriver for maximum affect

lol mate just a tad, in a straight line only doing around 50mph i hit a bump in the road and she switched lanes all by herself!!!!

wow,not good, if its a clean shear between the chassis leg etc, can you not put it back on in correct place and weld the crack, should be ok, just prep it first so
no paint etc and get a good welder on the scene

Its all coming back to me now....

When i bought the car the wheel in that corner was buckled, and the tie bar resembled a banana, when i took the wheel off to put a straight tie bar on i noticed there was a mark on the arch where it looked like the wheel had hit the inside of the arch.

I'm thinking the car had been in a light bump on that wheel and maybe caused a small crack on the body at the top of the strut, and over time mr water had made his mark and corrsion had set in!!!

Nightdavva has very kindly offered to cut a large section out of another escort and weld it in!!! So by tuesday all should be sorted
