I've had several Escorts in this year, GTi/XR3i/Ghia/Si etc. and they all hung around for ages even at very decent money - I don't plan on buying anymore Had no trouble with equivalent Fiestas though!

It's a buyer's market at the moment and it's flooded

That's exactly what I mean - people would rather pay another Ł1,000 or whatever and buy a Focus or put it down on a brand spanker at 0% for the next 3 years with free insurance and no MOT to worry about.

I'd have one any day, love 'em, and personally, I'd pay for the right one, don't care if it's more than a Focus as I hate Focus' and love MK6's, 'specially the GTi

great colour too. There are people out there willing to pay, but there are also plenty of people stuck with 'em for ages and can't sell for good money

all depends on timing, being in the right place at the right time when it comes to buying and selling
