i was on a nice ride out today, when i spotted a bemer and a soob wrx racing so i thouhgt i will just fly past them, most sensable cars dont fook with superbikes my zx6r will do 0 to 60 in 3.1 and over 160 mph
so i got past the bemer but the scoob was havin none of it and on the next dual carrigeway he went for it big style but i was on his bumper!and he wouldent pullover so i just got by him with not much room to spare i think you need up in the 400 bhp to start to mess with bikes
im after the r1 next
but i still think the thrill of a turbo is brilliant

ran, i remember you posting it i told you that my compresser shaft on my s2 snapped and bang smoke everywere big style when the shaft snaps it makes a terrible noise!! like your engines fooked..

thing is , is you make a mistake on a bike your dead no second chance, when im going mad on mine i have to realy concentrate big style, to day i was chasin another bike and we were both doin over 135 mph .. plus your down on the tank .. you seem to catch up with cars in front of you realy quick..it is very dangarous but fun

i dont think there is much in it after 100mph between a zx6 and a 350bhp cossie acceleration wise IMHO.

i raced a 1200 bandit and beat it he gave up at 120mph and gave me the fingers

usually cos its the faster cossies that may come somewhere close and not just miles out the back like most

not sure how much over 160 you could go.maybe clock speeds but any idea of top speed timed at brunters for a ninja?

i had a shot of m8s ZX9R few weeks back and was thouroughly impressed

My old ZX6R (2000 X plate J1) hit 176mph on the limiter with a good tail wind (clocked) but on the flat hit about 170mph. Took an age after 160mph to wind up though....

Got rid of it to convert to Cossie's (married, planning for kids, so seems sensible).

Big plus is the anonymity - don't stop for the old bill. Downside is risk to life.....

On a 600, there's not much in it above 100mph with a Stg 3 Cossie, but if you jump to a GSXR thou or R1, forget about it..... You'd need a Reyland to get close.....
