Default My car battery is sizzling and making noises

well i found out why the rs turbo wont start, cos my trickle charger fooked my battery, i drained the battery flat, then recharged with a decent battery charger and now its sizzling lol, are car batteries likly to blow up lol?

Gra, did you check the electrolyte level (i.e. has it got fluid in it?) and are any vents (if applicable) open?

my battery exploded in my old isuzu trooper
alternator was overcharging it
blew the top 3/4 of the battery apart

made a hell of a mess

My dads got the 2.8 out of one of them in his landrover and that did the same thing over charging (but it did'nt exploded luckly every lucky tho)

So i heard your suposed to have the caps open when chaging the batery ???? Not sure it right as i have never had a problem

mine was a 2.8 the reliable engine ... or so i thought.. till i spent 2 hours sat at 90 mph solid ... little ends told me to fook off ... 3 mm of play in 3 pistons up and down .... ooops

cant be the alternator, the car hasnt moved for a yr or so, on only moven in march to go up and down the road once

goona do a BBQ tomorrow if its still hot

They do bubble when trickle charging, especially when fully charged.
