You need a dropping pipette that will hold around 50cc and some fluid like parrafin.
1. Fit head with all valves and spark plugs, place upside down (chambers up) and with the pipette fill the chamber till the fluid is level with the surface. Measure how much you used, should be easy as the pipette should have calibration marks on it.
2. Next the piston, put a very small amount of oil around the bore (just enough to wet it) this will seal the rings enough to hold the fluid. Get piston at TDC and fill the remaining space with your fluid and measure amount used again.
3. calculate swept volume of cylinder (area of bore x the stroke)
4. calculate area of compressed head gasket (area of bore x thickness)
5. add all these together to give your total cylinder volume, then add 1.2. and 4. to give your combustion chamber volume. Then divide the combustion chamber volume into your total cylinder volume to give you your compression ratio.
Repeat for all cylinders.

Thats how ive done it
