Dump valve.

Is it ok to run a cossie without a dump valve ? I've just fitted my new cone filter and done away with the dump valve but have been told i'll kill the turbo,is this right ?

22psi held and no dumpvalve - thru an rs500 style cooler - loads of chatter, no damage.

I'd heard you only needed a dump valve if you had a t4 running a certain boost,but i really dont want to run a dump valve.

can i lock this thread now before the arguements come in about "i run 1 billion psi and my turbo self destructed because of no dumpvalve"
