If you use cossie stuff then only real issues i can foresee are the enlarging of the tunnel and the fact that you will need to do all the front end stuff like cutting half moons out for the driveshafts etc.

what specifically do you want to know?

early 2.8 xr4x4 used type 9 boxes, i think its the rear end that will cause most headaches as they use a different set up from sierras, old cortina type rear axle i think??

Is the P100 on leaves then? :O

Although perfectly possible of course to maintain the rear end whatever it is, so its not really needed to swap it as part of the conversion, just a nice upgrade to do "while you are at it" providing you match the front diff ratio to the rear correctly.

rears are leafs. but maybe you could use something like a (modded) MK2 escort
rear linkage?
as they convert them from leafs to trailing arms with shocks
(just like richy chamberlins, fudge)

There is no reason (other than handling) that you would have to remove the leaves if you 4wd it, perfectly possible to retain the leaves at the back and still convert it to drive the front as well.
