Default 17,s on a s2 do they benefit?

just wondering ive been offered a set of polished sevens for my s2,which is a fab rim dont get me wrong but what are the pros and con? i had a set of voodoos on my previous s2 which i thought handled like pig when you got to a ton!! im running mondeos 16's at the mo which are just right,just wanted to know!

depend on what your want to do with the car, 17's are good looking, but as you say, if they are a heavy rim as well, it doesnt help the poor lil 1600....

would stick with the 16's if i were you, there just right for the size of the car, and arch.

i prefer mondeo 16's on escorts so thats what i got on mine

They seem to be ok if you get the right suspension mods and get it all set-up correctly.

Get the genuine Escort Cosworth wheels, although there wide they will go on and it will handle superb, plus it will look the tits!

16'' wheels will drive much better but dont fill the arches quite like a 17''. Its mostly down to personal prefference more than anything.

Had a set on mine and i thought it looked the nuts
