Default cossie engine spec, is this compatible?

Hi all

If a 2wd cossie is running Group A head gasket and stage 2 chip along with greens, is a standard air filter going to cope? Also a 3 bar MAP sensor.

I was always of the thinking that the air filter was one of the first things upgraded, normally at a Stage 1. I also thought greens were stage 3 material.

Just want to know if this is a suitable spec list for a cossie?

Many thanks

I'm running satge 2 with a K&N panel filter if thats what you mean, and I believe a panel filter can cope with 400bhp +. I'd ditch the standard paper filter if thats what you have Cause their poo

I think you'll find that the airfilter will be more than up to the job

Panel filters are better at sifting out the shite, and is better protected from the heat off the turbo, but a cone filter makes the car sound like a monster, and makes the chatter louder if you have no d/v

Ignore EVEYTHING Churchy says, as he hasn't got a clue .

The best filter for filtration (especially in dusty climates like yours) will be the standard paper element. This will be fine up to 350bhp . The K&N element IS less restrictive, but at a cost of inferior filtration to the stand paper one....
