That sounds like about the most sane bird I've ever heard when going through a difficult patch.

You've got to see it from her point of view - she suggests getting together to meet, and you do the typical blokey thing, and blow her out for the football, and try to convey how pissed off you are by giving a cold shoulder.

I tell ya mate - us blokes are absolute amateurs when it comes to relationships - it took me to hell and back with one girl to work it out.

Honestly tho, REALLY think about this, have you girl mates that you dont fancy in the slightest?

When ive thought about it ive came to the conclusion that only birds I ever bother treating as mates was ones I fancied and where slipping one into em looked a possibility at some point

Soon as that possibility dissapeared or they got not as fit the interest in spending any time with em or speaking to them suddenly dissapeared...

But then I never cheat on anyone either, but still stay friends with girls when i'm seeing someone!

 

i think if she had anything to hide she 1 wouldn't have saved the messags and 2 wouldn't have left the phone in a position it could get seen!!

My ex girlfriend used to do it to me a lot, I used to get text's from a couple of m8's that would start with 2Hi Hun" or sommit like that, she went mad, giving it the old "why's she calling you hun etc, etc." I put up for it for a while, then it got to the stage when she'd look at my phone when i left the room or something. Copped the big elbow straight after that.

2 valuable lesson's to be learnt from this

1) Delete all your messages

2) If you're gonna abuse someone's privacy, don't feel you have the right to kick off about it

Most burds are a pain in the arse, and in my experiance impossible to read so I just give up most of the time

I'm not denying the fact i have girl mates who i'd love to hang out the back of and i certainly aint either. But i been there done that and got caught out, so fook it - if ya get the urge pound one out, job done.

Relationships are all about trust as someones already said, and if my g/f does have messages like the examples above, how would i know? I just trust her enough to do the right thing. Flirty text messages are harmless, its if it goes any further is where the trouble begins.

My g/f, as i'm sure other peeps on here have partners who are lusted after by the opposite sex. Thats life and i've accepted it, we are after all animals with animal urges - just learn to deal with it if you want a peaceful life.

To be honest I wouldn't have looked.

I've been cheated on more often than my family's monopoly board but if someone's gonna do it, they're gonna do it and no amount of trawling through messages will stop that. Maybe I just go with the ignorance is bliss option.

Also would you have issues with her going through your phone cos you should always treat people as you would like to be treated.

As for male friends I would say about 90% of my mates are blokes. I could send whatever I liked when I was (eternally) single but now I have someone else to consider. Which is what I've heard you do when you're in a relationship. Now Dave wouldn't like me sending smut to all and sundry but I know a few people (Waps, Mike, Greg, Ding etc) get a little more trust. That said I have always introduced them all to him. If you have nothing to hide you always will.

i dont usually chat to my mates bird as i dont always find em interestign and tbh theres no point as i got nothing in comon with em

but then ive always prefered a guys company when on a night out and i hate it when peeps bring there birds as it kills the mood

also people always act different when there birds abotu and act boring as they cant be too boyish as then the missus may think the wrong thing

thats the best way imo, as trust gets harder later in the relationship, if she cant keep her legs together in the first 3 years whats she gonna be like 8 years later when shes bored and her sex drive kicks in ( asuming women do finally have one or ive been wasting my time )

When say your chilling out and your both sat watchin tv or summat go to use your phone fiddle with it, then say "fuckin thing" as you do this reach toward her phone and say "just gonna send a text on your phone babe"

If she doesnt blink an eye lid - safe

If she moves slowly to stop you - may just be pissed off that you have assumed you can use it

If she dives for the phone/checks it and gives it to u - put her stuff in a bag and tell her to fook off......... Either shes slaggin you of to her mates, has got blokes textin her and vice versa... either way its not worth it

Phone is constantly empty ie no msgs in outbox or inbox - signals long ongoing text convos with potential new partner

 

and trust me those are always right, ive done them my to my girlfriends and had it to me by them

My last bird was always dead cagey with her phone, used to switch it off before goin to bed etc never let it out of her sight and msg bxes would always be empty towards the end of the relationship.....
