Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I hate hospitals as well mate, I can't even watch casualty without walking out the room.
I was scared stiff when I went in (shaking like a leaf), but once you have got over the getting wheeled in bit, then getting knocked out, it's fine! It was really funny actually, I woke up and thought, that wasn't so bad, I really couldn't feel a thing the medication was that strong, then walked over to the loo, and cut myself on the door (still well drugged up that's my excuse)!! That was actually the most painful thing that happened that day, lol!!!
I remember when I saw the consultant before the op, he said 'we need to do this and that', and I was bricking it, then he said 'we will have to use local anethetic' I said 'does that mean knocked out' he replied 'yep', i went 'woooohhhhooooooo' Homer Simpson style!! lol
Very best of luck though mate, i'm sure you will be fine And get well soon

WHOOOOOOO , I'M ALIVE
Fook, that WAS an experience
Right im back home where i shall stay for 6 fookin weeks with a district nurse coming round everyday to re-pack the wound!!, yep NO STITCHES, its an open wound !!!
The op that i had was an "extraction of a Pilondial Sinus" (in my fookin arse!!!) its a nest of ingrowing hairs that send little tracts off around the area infected and it ALL has to be chopped out. basically i now have a hole about the width of a coke can lid and about 2 inches deep !!!!! it looks foookin huge and hurts like a twat its at the base of spine top of buttocks area.
Mucho respect to all the sexy nurses who kept coming to have a play with my ass , seemed like they couldn't get enough .
I loved the morphine type stuff they gave me, i was soooooo fookin wasted it was untrue
was bricking it going into theatre, but once the needle thing was in my arm, i was only awake for about 5 seconds and then i woke up wrecked with no pain at all , kinnell i thought, that was easy, then the numb pain kicked in a couple of hours later
didnt sleep a wink all night really and am soo glad they let me home today. just the smell of the place freaked me out
just realised im still pretty fooked as im writing gibberish
oh well, gonna get a bit of rest then see what happens.
will get some piccies when my mates come round ( may be a bit graphic but fook it lol) , you just gotta see this wound
THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT GUYS
looks like 6 weeks of PF starts NOW

Glad it went ok mate, I found it terrifying going into the operating bit, but once they stick that needle in you, your out within a few minutes, like you say!
It's a really powerful drug, I was totally battered (more than I have ever felt drunk) as well to be honest, that's how I cut my hand open on the bog door! Didn't feel a thing all day, I only knew I cut my hand cos of the blood dripping out of it! The next day it began getting a bit numb and painful though..... My op was on one of my nuts that decided it didn't want to play anymore and like grew to the size of a apple!! They had to cut a load of stuff off the outside of it...It swelled to the size of a large potato after that though, and man it was soar, slightest movement, ouch!!!!
Get well soon mate

Ouch good to hear you survived, I've heard that condition can be as painful as labor apparently (sure I'm thinking of the same condition) hope you have a speedy recovery
