I know you can buy a car adaptor for an iPod so you can use it in your car, but have heard from a couple of friends that they can fry you iPods
Any truth to this or are they telling lies and are just shit at wireing

i have an alpine CDA-9835r and an alpine KCA 420 adaptor
this allwos me to control my ipod from my head unit
works a treat usign the volume nob as the jogger dial

They use any frquency you choose between 87.1 and 107 Fm
i and the missus both have them in the car mines a 20gig Ipod so loads of tunes just under 3000 at the moment
