quick ipod question
i have one of the new g5 ipods, video etc 30gb
i have had it for a few weeks now but my computer is fooooked. i'm not gonna be fixing the computer till after christmas, thing is, i only got around to putting 2 albums on the ipod before my pc crashed
my brother has a g4 ipod (click wheel) and hundreds and hundreds of albums on his version of i-tunes on his pc.
my question is, can i plug my ipod into his pc and download all of his cd's onto my ipod, bearing in mind that the ipods are different.
i understand i will lose my stuff on my ipod, but it aint much
anyone done this before???
cheers

Yep, you can. If and when you get your pc up and running if you're going to reuse iTunes (if that's what you were using) just be mindful if you plug in your iPod, it will ask you to use (your name) playlist if you hit yes it will erase what you have. I think there is also a way to get all the songs off your iPod into your own playlist.
Oh, for us Apple folk, G4 and G5 are the new/er computers until I realized you ment generation LOL.
