new cars....
I'm getting a bit bored of the Cos and S2 and am seriously thinking of chopping them both in and buying 2 new cars or 2 that are only a year old with low mileage (newer cars are a lot less hastle).
I'm not sure i really like anything out there at the moment though.
I like the idea of a Civic Type R as i've heard they are really reliable, but i recon they are a bit ugly and maybe a new Fiesta ST or Fiesta Zetec S as a daily car.
only thing is how much could i really expect for my cossie (if anyone would buy a spaceship ) i know it won't be much as they seem to go for peanuts now a days.
what new cars do you like if you had say £25k to buy 2 with.

Pops: idealy i'd like a Noble but my bank manager told me to fcuk off
b19bal: not bad i guess, but a bit common.
All those who suggested BMW's, soz but they are my most hated car. will never own any bmw.
Kim: my Kim really wants a type R, long as they are reliable she can have what she wants, i just can't decide what i want lol
Evo 6? they are cheap with cossie type power.
I'd like a Focus Cosworth but doubt they will ever make on

you need to "learn" how to drive an ST to get the best out of it,I know of one guy ,with a few mods has managed, quite easily to get just under 200bhp from his ST focus and can manage a 0-60 of 6.5 seconds,
As i said you need to learn how to drive them right to get the best from them,
I have one and they arnt that bad,i just miss the kick in the back side from the turbo charged cars

To make a sweeping statement like that you must have never had the 'pleasure' of driving an e46 m3....Seriously i dont know of anyone who would rather drive a saph cos then an M3....
Madness, and you would consider a ctr....

What about a 206 hdi for a daily car, There nice and reliable, do 45mpg easily, with a re map they usally make 120bhp and are fast enough for daily use, you can get a standard nice 02 reg ish on under 30,000 miles for about 6-7k

just latley i've been getting into the honda integra, 'power enginnering' normally have a couple of fresh imports there (they get them ready for UK specs for the guy who imports them) imo they look much better than a civic type r, & the trim is awesome, really well laid out with cloth & alancantara recaro's. problem is, there not the best thing when you have 2 kids!!
i think next year i will sell the saff & 3 door, not sure about the FRST, then buy an escort cossie & a 1.8 or 2.0 focus as a runaround.

a mate has one and it is a cracking little car, goes really well in gear and pulls like a train
