Just bought me first bike
Following on from a post a while back i finally got myself a nice 02 reg black 600 bandit, i am chuffed to bits its a minter with only 3400 on the clock. Let the saga of my bike career begin

The fitting was a bit chewy my mate got me some proper bollox hoses from work but the adaptor that was crimped on the end wouldnt alow the head to fit on cause it hit the exhausst manifold but its all sorted now just needs torquing up and timing up. hopefully for the next cleveland meet. O and apparently you were talking to my mate, who is seeing a lass called eren who is the sis of your mate or something

The timing up is no bother, just take your time with it - turn her over a few times on the crank pulley and re-check before you fire it up
I used to use a push-bike spoke down the plug hole to confirm I was at TDC.
Remember if you have had the head skimmed that the cams might not line up exactly, and always use the rotor arm position on the dizzy rather than the aux pulley marker to time the dizzy up
