lso idles high until you come to a standstill ??do they all do this??

could be idle speed valve mate, common prob on escorts

yeah i thought that but has been replaced because it kept stalling!! saw your motor at the pod top work on the bodies!! you get it RR?

cheers mate, not had it set up yet no. hopefully this week...

well if its not the iscv then it may be tps, or possibly the cam pos sensor, crank sensor.
