Less,
In a way chip's advice is good. I suffered from similar problems years ago and still have the odd bad day here and then. Positive thinking got me through a lot and even now I try to think positively. If the medications isnot working, go back to your GP and demand a change. I was given Prozac and it didn't work for me. They gave me another one, little blue things, and they worked by making me tired all day so I was pretty relaxed. To be honest, the best thing I did was stop taking medication. I very rarely talk about this sort of thing to anyone, in fact most of my maates wouldn't know any of this, but I know what you are going through and just want to help. I had days where I would wake early and feel like shit all day, so I ended up laying on the sofa watching TV. It was a vicious circle.
I did finally kick my ass into shape. I stopped drinking tea and coffee for a start. I kept myself busy by doing some work in the garden. I took each day at a time, and when I felt good, it made me feel better because I wasn't feeling too shitty. This is where positive thinking helps, you think to yourself 'wow, I feel better today than I did yesterday!' and it works. And if you have a bad day, you just have to remember you got yourself out of it before, you can do it again. Also, sometimes it is true that you will feel better tomorrow. You need to get out of the routine that you are in now. If you spend all day sitting in your room, go sit in another room for a while, or if it's nice, go out in the garden. It worked for me, it may work for you. Just don't listen to people that tell you to pull yourself together!
