im having probs again, no error probs just really really slow

 

Worse that ever now.

Took me 5 hours to get on to the forum this morning (Sunday)......then kept locking me out when trying to view posts. Also, VERY sluggish with lots of critical errors.

I had a simular problem with my phpBB database and clearing the session table seamed to clear it

 

Search function isnt working chaps

 

i deactivated search for a while, the time i change the way it works and the results it gives
but you should feel that the site is OK and back to speed now after all I did on the database this afternoon.

 

Im still getting that die error message and having problems posting too

 

No worries Pet, I did just get another Critical Error tho :s

 

i just rebooted MySQL server because i did a final tweak, this is why you just got this error. It's normal, so. From now on, it should be spot on. Any update on speed ?

up to speed again pet, top job matey, out of interest , when you press the view your posts bit and all that shit comes up, is that the sort of stuff you have to go through and work out where the problems are etc, if so HOW THE FUCK it looks like the matrix

Sorry to be a bearer (sp??) of bad news but the board still isn't what it used to be to me.

Firt logging in doesn't work. I always get an error and then the 2nd time I log in, I don't have ANY new messages because the boards THINKS that I logged in a few minutes earlier.

Board is also pretty slow for me. Not as fast as it used to be.

Am I the only one???

For me its no longer worth the aggro, taken several attemps to be able to write this & it probably wont post.
Its very slow to get in & posting on a Topic near impossible.
At least its broken my addiction to this Forum which is prob a good thing.
All my other Forums i visit now seem very very fast.

Worth the aggro? are you investing a lot of work in here ?

 

For most this Forum is a Hobby, God forbid i relied on it for my income, if it dont work correctly then i go where it does. Not having a go at you or anyone else, the board is at best erratic & sometimes impossible, we were asked for our comments & ive done that.
I have invested by Gold membership fee if thats what you mean .
Not sure who gets the money, but it sure aint me.
