Tyres for rwd grip
Brought a bmw late last year as a present for
my wife. We needed a better car, we both always wanted a bmw and in the end brought one.
pretty happy with it. Although grip is a massive issue.
had a mot last week, flew through but tyres need doing soon ( 3mm tread )
where we live on a slop, it hard to get out due to the weather.
is there any tyre out there that has a decent all round grip ( sunny/wet/hard frost )
im not up to date I’m tyres like I used too. I used to run rainsport 3 I think years ago on my vxr and they where decent for the price ( years ago )
I don’t want to take a chance and they’ll tyres ain’t cheap and don’t want ti buy a pair that ain’t great.
thanks all

What's a slop ?
It seems Yeovil is pretty far south....I doubt you get much snow/ice to be concerned in that regard ?
But really...spend some time on Tyre Reviews, Jon has great videos and tests with a multitude of tyres, in many many conditions. That may help make a better judgement

But the likes of a Michelin PS4 or the new PS5 would be hard to beat as an all rounder. Although obviously don't expect wonders in snow or ice.
That far south, it would seem hard to bias towards an all weather/season tyre unless you do a lot of driving in colder climates. Although Michelin Cross Climate 2's seem to be among the best of that bunch, but obviously they won't be great for hard fast driving in warm summer
