Default Recomendations of long lasting 17" tyres???

Had this posted in the wheels and tyres section, but theres a better audience in here, need to get tyres tomorrow, sorry mods, just wanted some quicker replys

Guys can you recommend some long lasting tyres size 205 40 17.

My GF is going threw tyres fast as fuck on the front of her corsa, thats 2 sets in a few thousand miles, first were falken ziex's lasted about 3000 miles 2nd set are cheap ones and have lasted 2000 or so, shes not easy on the car but christ going threw tyres that quick on a 1.0L Is taking the piss There wearing evenly.

Can anybody recomend some that will last and be reasonably priced, I know faster wearing comes with stickyness so would like the opposite

your girlfriend obviously needs to change her driving style if shes going through tyres in 2000 miles on a 1 litre. my dunlop sp9000 back tyres last several times more than that on my rear wheel drive bmw, even with hard use.

Also as said above your gf must be a lunatic behind the wheel

I'd be throwing on the cheapest linglongs I could find if she's burning them up that quickly... its not like she needs performance stuff on a 1.0 Corsa anyway.

Cheers,

Yeah shes not right I've already had to change an engine cos she killed the last one Its not even like it wheel spins, figure its just late braking and her cornering.
The tracking was done recently so that side of things is fine.

Cheers lads
