prices are mad nowadays, wasn't that about a £10 grand car in the early 2000's?

I saw a 205 1.6gti advertised for £43,000. Admittedly it was mint and under 20,000 miles but I am sure nobody would pay even £20k?..surely?

Yes, and I wish I'd bought on around that time when I had £10k sitting around spare If I'd known they'd have gone like this I'd have snapped one up, stored it, and then sold it to pay off my mortgage

Daft prices tbh. If mine got totalled or nicked I don't think I could ever justify going out and spending £50k to replace it

Yeh it would be hard to spend 50k on another old Sierra when there are far more better performance cars out there.
