Default Wiring problem - i cant sort it....

basically when i have the water temp gauge sendor plugged in, the alternator wont charge the battery and the batt light is on on the dash

and when its plugged in the gauge goes right off the scale when you turn the ignition on.

but with it unplugged the alt charges the batt up ok...

also the clock dont work but i think thats cos i took the hands off and stuck a white face on....

i have checked all the wiring out and seems ok....

anyone got any ideas, fooking me off now!!

had a look last night, took the fookin dash out

cant see anything wrong with the clocks etc although i did get my clock working again lol...

i swapped the wires on the temp sensor and it still didnt work right...

fukk knows what else it is.

oh, and with the temp sensor unplugged, when you turn the ignotion on the needle rises and goes off the gauge... then when you start the car it drops down again....
