Default Pug 306 s16

Ok i know someone brought one for track use ect But im thinking of having my brothers one BUT The speedo has stoped working ??????????Now are the speedo's on them elektronic (sp)

And has anyone else ever had a simaler problem ???

ps the s16 is the 2.0l 16v 1 below the gti6 i belive

Anyone help

GurnE has just got one

not sure how the speedo works, think i can remember someone saying it was of the alernator?

I know my old 306 xsi was

Track day is on the 23rd Rhys, not today, was just getting the brake fluid changed today

Sorry, know fook all about french crap, it only gets looked at when it breaks, which it hasn't yet

Great car to drive tho, ideal daily driver imo

Nah, fookin peugoet dealer didn't even manage to change the fluid.

Were worried about snapping off the bleed nipples on the rear

Another job I'l have to do myself...........lol

I was collecting a bits and bobs from a GTi6 lastnight if it is the same dash as GTi6 and you are needing 1 let me know as I'll be going back to colect a few more bits of him next week, and I know he has GTi6 dash for sale.

I think what your on about is the tacho, on some diesels the signal is taken off the alternator as a diesel doesnt have an ignition circuit

my brother bought a gti6 then 2 weeks later we took it for a track day at donnington park

then after 10 laps the bottom end went! arghh

thease engines are foking expensive we payed nearly 700 smackers deliverd for a 32k engine

fooking expensive track day!

Just the front brake setup pls, calipers with carriers/yokes, hoses, and discs and pads if there in ok condition, also has he the master cylinder (if so do u know what size it is)
