Right how do you dry your car after washing it? Because i use a chomis and its leaves little fine scratchs which unless you wax it after stay there and looks a mess!

It when the car is sat in the sun you can see it all and it looks terrible imo. But as soon as u wax it they magically dissapear

So come on any tricks of the trade to stop this from happening?

Hmmm might have to invest in one then! Seen a couple of different makes of the aqua blade now. Are they all the same or is the qutoglym one the best?

Neither a chamois nor an aquablade will scratch your car if they're clean and undamaged.....

if the chamois aint dirty then you aint rinsing/washing and rinsing the car properly ryhs

Mine was a Autoglym one brand new, left loads of little scratches all over, im sure i cant be using it wrong? can i?

i mean its not that hard is it Blade + Car + drag it over the panels = no water and a load of scratches?

Pop's, I find the aquablade perfect for flicking water off the rear spoilers, over people passing by

(otherwise I agree, good for removing most of it, then chamoising is speeded up - EsCos has too many curves & swage lines)

Ive got Turtle Wax blade and always use it. Save loads of time and definitly doesnt scratch it!!
As said above though, its only good for getting the main of the water off then a quick chamois to finish

Rhys, the absolute best thing you can do it wash your car with rain water, then it won't have all the crap in that tap water does and leave as many marks!

...just acid, nuclear fallout etc..

Deionised water is best, and that's basically what the Flash thingy does

It uses a filter (which removes the impurities that leave spotting) and a dry film polymer for the water to 'sheet' away.

Still reckon this is you in that webcam rockstar vid
