Sounds like an open circuit caused by a Faulty Sensor. I would probably start looking at the Bonnet Pin Switch.

What alarm is it?

To put it more simply, if one of the sensors is faulty, or not connected etc, once you have set the alarm, the car will think that the Bonnet/Door/Boot etc is open if the sensor for that part of the car is playing up.

As above, check the bonnet, boot and door switches. If you have washed your car or it has rain'd heavy then water can sometimes find its way into the switches and short them causing the false alarm.

Remove the switches, get rid of the water and coat them in low temp grease or vaseline

JUst coat the rear of the switches with grease, it will prevent the water getting to the contacts.
