Default Insurance Q.

Just to settle something here. Cousin recently crashed his Saxo VTR. Totally smashed the front and o/s front wing etc. One of his alloys was damaged in the crash.

He then tells us that he hasn't declared to the insurance that he has aftermarket alloys on the car. I reckon that the insurance company will void his policy (any excuse for not paying out) however he reckons they'll still pay out but will only pay to replace the alloy with an original VTR one..

Which one of us is "right" or does it vary from company to company? He's with Adrian Flux...

Cheers

JK

i dunno, some insurance companies allow up to 3 body/exterior mods before
they void it i thought??

depends on who comes round and inspects the car, if there a tight ass they'll void it but if they dont give a fook they wont notice. and most of these ppl wouldnt know what a standard saxo looks like anyway.
