Default Focus st reduced acceleration

Hi everyone I am Al and live near Manchester I bought focus st recently and need your help, I recently fitted a oil filter housing on my 2006 focus st as engine was doing the whistling sound, the housing was a nightmare to get out as I had already read on this forum, I didn't remove airbag and moved to the side and managed to get housing through the gap. I fitted a used but good housing and now my problem is when I started up engine light is on and dash says acceleration reduced and it won't go above 1600rpm or 15mph, I changed oil and filters when I did housing, I think I must have disturbed a wire or something
Can anyone please help

Check the breather hose between the housing and the cam cover. Older ones are plastic and do split, there is an updated rubber hose.

Hi Richie I bought a brand new hose when I bought the housing but I didn't fit it as it was already rubber one

You need to get it plugged into a diagnostic machine to see what code is in it really.
