Default Returning a car to standard

A few years back I had my mk6 Fiesta lowered and polybushed. Now they're a few years old and the suspension is starting to sag and the car feels HORRIBLE to drive and it has more squeeks and noises then a field mouse.

It hurts my back to drive it. My question is if I remove the polybushes and keep the spax springs will the car be any less harsh or should I fit entirely standard suspension? I do also have 45 profile tyres on 16" wheels. Would fitting 15's on a 50 profile tyre improve the ride qaulity?

I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong place.

Poly bushes do make the ride harder imo.

45 tyres should be ok.

That's a trade off. Steer your mods at performance and comfort suffers. Aim for comfort and the performance suffers.

I put my mondeo back to standard before I got rid. Drove lovely on smaller wheels!

I've only polybushed the front wishbones on mine but didn't notice a lot of difference to harshness, I'd say the majority of it is from the springs

Think I'll be looking at some standard suspension then. The car is old and will soon need to be replaced tbh.

Sadly I think I'll be leaving the modified culture behind.
