Hi everyone I am new on here so will start with a bit of an introduction!
My name is Rob and I have always loved the RS's, my first car at 17 was a series 2 RS turbo all tho it spent more time in pieces in my garage I still loved her, time has moved on with a family etc and I am now 31 and gagging for another one and this is where the help is needed please!
I want a really good one this time, either running the 2.1zvh or the full Zetec, I know very little about the 2.1 and nothing at all about the Zetec, I want to run 300bhp so which is best? All so what is considered a fair price for a series 2 RS turbo with either of these conversions? I want a really good one with a sound engine and bodywork!

Hello! Get yourself in the rs turbo section and have a look at a thread by karlos G (believe that's the correct username), he has a thread on building zetec turbos on a reasonable budget using an ST170 motor as a base. You wont go wrong following that.

I would go zetec turbo but its personal choice. Budget wise, reckon 6k and up for a good one with good body and well carried out conversion.

 

I am thinking Zetec is the way forward, I have done some homework elsewhere and the Zetec seems the better and stronger engine! Cheers for the help mate!
