There's a pattern here mark uses borg's romain uses borg's and if you follow Julian on Facebook he too now uses borg's yet people still question them

Pump fuel I have seen 665hp and 578ftlb on a gtx35.

what gearbox would be needed if I was to use a 7064 , would a pde straight cut be enough

cheers mark, it will be the 2nd and 3rd gears that's only straight cut until funds allow for another box of some sort

I know this thread is a few years old but thought I’d update it, since this post I decided I wanted a tad more power than the 600-650 range as originally mentioned.

I’m now aiming for around the 680/700hp mark so turbo wise was gonna run a gt4088r but recently realised Garrett have now discontinued that turbo and their turbo range at present for that power isn’t that great tbh...

So we’ve decided on trying out a Precision 6266 Gen 2 turbo, they are rated at 800hp so on a middle sized exhaust housing at realistic 680/700hp ish should be achievable, I’ll get some pics up once it’s all been mounted to the new engine etc

the engines all done, only needs the turbo mounted now.

the car is far from ready though lol, still loads of bits i need to buy and the engine bay of the car needs sorting out, im hoping to put it together to try amd get some use of it this year but we'll see, i also dont have a garage i can work in now as ive moved house which doesnt help in the slightest

Them gt40's do produce good power theres no denying that
