Default Mk3.5 fiesta break conversion

Hi everyone iv got a mk3.5 fiesta and i mk3.5 also have a mk6 escort that im breaking, I'm also currently turning my fiesta into a 1800 and I was wondering if someone could tell me if I could use the breaks of the escort for better stopping power ?

Are you sure the brakes arnt the same. Im sure they might be.

You could fit ford focus st170 front discs and calipers or use mk3 mondeo calipers with st170 discs. Ive done this on my ford puma but you will need 15 inch wheels(but will have to trim the calipers down for them to fit under 15s) or use 16 inch alloys.

Tbh mate they just look bigger lol I have 15s already on there but I just didn't want to start dismantling to find they won't go on

Make sure the bleed nipples free of then just try them. Thats if the brake hose comes out ok.

Calipers/carriers and discs will swap over fine.

mk6 escorts are only 240mm unless its a rs2000 then they are 260mm personally would not bother as both are not great, saph 4x4 fronts I had on my FRST

Well all I have mate is them for now, so I don't mind putting them on for now until I pick up some better ones, I'm now just short of a rear engine mount and then it's ready to convert
