Default MORNING!!!! PC hardware advice required .... :-)

I'm looking at selling my laptop (Sony Vaio PCG-K315Z - See for sale section) and sort out a super kick-ass base unit and TFT monitor.

Dont really need any info regarding the tower, just the TFT!

Whats the best one to go for in terms of quality and resolution, I've heard 19" TFT's can only display a max of 1280x1024, don't really want to go to 21" for 1600x1200 because of sheer size and of course cost.

Any 19" TFT's that can display 1600x1200?

Just gonna start looking about now see what there is.

Cheerz

You'd be hard-pushed to find a TFT that will support 1600x1200, I've looked myself...

Look at the refresh-rate of any monitors you consider, you want it as low as possible, don't consider anything over 20ms.

Under £250 for a 19" TFT with 12ms refresh-rate, can't complain at that!

The only 19" TFT I could find on Aria for under £200 (including VAT) was 16ms and a make I've never even heard of......or were you referring to a refurbished monitor?

sorry, may be the 17 inch that is 12ms
would challenge to see the difference between 12 and 16 though!
Digimate have rave reviews from the gaming community, and I hadn't heard of em either - but one sits on the missus' desk that arrived today and looks pretty good.
