Help needed Audi tech's
Car in question is an Audi A6 1.9tdi 2004,
Car was missed fueled with approx £20 of petrol ontop of £5 deisel, then driven for 1/2 mile, car stoped and then wouldn't re start realising the car had been missed fueled stopped trying to start it,
Tank was draind with a vachum type tank sucker and a new filter fitted and 20ltr of fresh deisel, system bleed and car started and run for a few miniutes, then test driven for a few miles.
Now when ever the car is stopped for a few miniutes it becomes difficult to re start has to be turned over for a while, so then decided to change non return valve on top of the fuel filter, but this has no affect.
Anyone have any other ideas or susgetions it deffently feels as if the fuel is draining back, once car is running its fine.
Thanks
jamie

are the fuel pipes on the filter housing on the correct way they can be a pig to start if not i know from....erm.... experience lol! they are usually coloured at the ends so you would think it was nigh on impossible to mix them up lol
Did you flush the filter and its housing through with free
Sh diesel? I'd run it for a good few hrs before you do anything. If you disturbed any fuel lines it could be an air leak too causing the tricky starting

Its starting 9 times out of 10 now so I just think it needs a good tank full running through it to clear any remaining petrol out, in Hine sight should have taken the tank out I made sure it was completely empty.
