Cos fuel pump voltage...........

Got 14 volts at battery,13.8 volts at fuse for pump,but only 12.2 volts at the pump

Is this ok or do I need to re-wire the pump threw a relay??????

I would say you are losing a fair bit of voltage, the more voltage the more flow.
How much voltage is lost across the fues?

Did'nt check that m8,can't remember which side of fuse I took reading TBH

Check the Ohms (resistance) with a multi meter across the fuse and the wire if the fuse is ok. Might be a dodgy bit of wire.

Every saff i have tested has had 11.5-12.3 to fuel pump - aint enough.

Needs rewiring from a 40amp relay and a 30 amp fuse using min of 25amp wires
Also needs the earth re-wiring.

Should make 13.3 min with 14 @ battery then.

13.3 is min voltage for a 044 pump anything above is a bonus
