Default To help a fellow Ford fan in his hour of need.

Hi guys and girls.

This is not your ordinary post, by a long shot...

I'm a member here and on multiple Ford/RS pages on Facebook. We have a member on there who is going through a pretty dark time... He's just lost his new born little, Sophiya. Premature birth and the little one just wasn't strong enough yet... Heartbreaking!! (To all dads/mums on here, and those who aren't, you can imagine the loss...)

At this point, Rob has not only been left with a gapping hole in his life (both him, his wife and little Sophiya's siblings of course) but he was having to now put his beloved (almost finished yellow Mk3 Escort) up for sale to fund the little ones funeral... I know a car doesn't even compare to the loss, but, on our group we've pledged to not only help raise money for the funeral, but also hopefully scrape together a little bit more so that he can give the little angel the send off she deserves, but also enable him to complete the car in her memory. Something for him to hold onto in his hour of need...

So. I know it's an ask from people that don't know myself or Rob, but... I was hoping some people may find it in their hearts to help with the funeral costs and help complete the car which will be maintained and taken to shows with all his family in her memory. Rob has named the car Sophiya after the little one. If its a £1 or £20. If you have anything spare and would be inclined to help out a grief stricken father (and rest of that family) it would mean the world to him!! We think he's lost enough without having to part with the car to fund the funeral and will give him and his family something to focus on and feel close to the little one. Please, please, if you can, help the family out. They say Ford nuts stick together, well, what better chance to prove it than this.

There is a PayPal account we are all donating too which is this:-

steph2110@hotmail.co.uk

Please, even a £1 will help. We're aiming for £5k to cover the funeral and a little bit left over from that to finish the car.

Have a heart and help out a father and family in need give a little angel taken far to early the send off she deserves.

Thank you.

p.s. The group on FB is Scorted mk3/mk4 Escorts of you'd like to see a few pictures of Sophiya or leave a message of support.

Me and my partner lost a baby when she was well into her term , but glad to say since then we have had 2 amazing little lads , to go through it all and then to be dealt this cruel blow has got be life shattering , last thing the bloke needs is to be dealing with jokers wanting to pick up his project for peanuts as he has to sell it

Top man Karlos All it would take is a £1 from a fraction of the members on here, do I hope your right buddy. Anyone with a heart surely couldn't not.

Thought we were losing my little boy during pregnancy and that was hard enough... He's okay and here now thank God, but you get a glimpse into what it must be like. But until your in these guys position (God forbid!) you never really know... Let's just hope dig deep to help them out. Everyone deserves to be able to put their little one rest.
