can a sump become porous? my esc cos has been stood in the garage over winter and i noticed while i was cleaning it up that theres been oil dripping from the sump,its not coming from the front or rear but looks as though its actually coming through the sump itself,anyone else had this?

 

Would have thought that could have happend myself?


You sure its not coming from anywhere else? As trust me when you think you know where a leak is coming from, its prob coming from a totrally different place I learnt that the hard way!

 

yeah, ive wiped it all down ,spotless,and after a few weeks it just appears again along the fins in the middle of the sump,only a few drops but still a pain
